I have used these successfully for transport of my kayak.The boat loads easily and the rack cradles it well.The racks seem stable on the road.It has taken a bit for me to figure out how best to strap the boat.I've moved away from lines to the bumper and have gone to more robust side to side strapping.Early transport had the kayak moving considerably on the racks.The mounting clamps are not secure enough - nor can they be - to keep the boat from moving on the car's cross braces.Overall, these are still the best I've seen.Click Here to see more reviews about: Yakima Hull Raiser Aero (4038)
